Facebook including all social networks the company owns which include

messenger, Instagram and what's app experienced an outage yesterday.

Even Oculus, Facebook's virtual reality platform and workplace, its business communication tool, are down.

It appears that the outage is caused by a domain name server fail, the

naming structure that forms the web's infrastructure.

In other news, if you were hoping to snag a new Apple watch in October, good news.

The company's Series 7 device should arrive on the 15th.

As a reminder, the new watch has a 20% larger screen, which means it can hold more text in case you love reading from your wrist.

And following reports that reveal that a significant percentage of top App Store apps were scams,

Apple is allowing users to report such behavior.

As part of iOS15, the latest App Store update lets you report a scam or fraud for both

free in-app purchase and paid apps, provided you've installed the app in question.
