Man, if that doesn't get you in the mood for football, then I don't know what does.

It starts at 10.30 in Ames on Saturday morning. And I can't wait. I'm going to give you four things that I'm looking forward to for the spring game.

First down, second down, third down and fourth down. And first down, it's just a very general takeaway. I can't wait to see the physicality,

the speed. I was at practice a couple weeks ago. Man, it was intense. It was very practical. Every

second of practice was used. But again, it was just practice. Guys were hitting bags. Guys were going

full speed, but they weren't laying each other out. I'm excited to see the structure of what this spring showcase could look like. I don't expect a full-on scrimmage, but I absolutely expect to see the offense go against the defense. No, we haven't really been told what this format's going to look like in any way, but I'd expect we get to see some ones- ones, twos versus twos, and nicks and match,

and maybe, we'll, maybe, just maybe, we'll get a sense of what the depth chart is looking like heading into spring.

Number two, I just want to see what this team looks like up front.
