home game of the season this Saturday against Kansas, and the Jayhawks have given Iowa State fits the last three

years. It's a three-game losing streak to Kansas. The only other program that Iowa State's lost

three in a row to in the Big 12 is Texas Tech. So they've got some demons to fight in Jack Tri

Stadium on Saturday. And one of them is quarterback Jalen Daniels, who last year

torched a depleted Iowa State defense. Daniels threw for 295 yards, ran for over 60,

and frankly, the Iowa State defense just had one of their worst games of the John Haycock era.

Campbell speaks extremely highly of Daniels, who in his sixth sixth year is playing at a pretty high level.

And what he's done an incredible job during his career is you've seen him just get better and better and better during his career.

And obviously I think everybody would say, boy, he's a great athlete.

He certainly can make you play horizontally throughout the football game.

You have to be Gap Sound because he can

make you pay in a heartbeat. But I think the thing where it's been so impressive to watch him is just his

ability to throw the football. And, you know, his ability to be vertical down the field, his ability to make

precision passes, you know, he's done an incredible job of really kind of honing in on the complete package
