Whiskey River would be a great spot to go and catch the final four this Saturday. They've got

awesome burgers, cold beer, a great atmosphere, and as it gets warmer, their

Well, it's not just the transfer portal season for players, it is for the coaches as well.

You and I head coach Ben Jacobson moved on to Utah State after 25 years, and that leaves a vacancy open.

And Iowa State assistant coach, Kyle Green is reportedly in the running.

Green spent over 15 years in Cedar Falls as an assistant.

It's essentially home for him.

It makes sense why there would be interest on both sides in this, reportedly. Seth Tuttle,

the former star player, who's also been an assistant coach. There's also in the running,

as well as former Minnesota head coach Ben Johnson. Either way, it's a win-win for Iowa State,

in my opinion. If Green gets the job, yes, it would hurt the current staff. It would

hurt the current team. Green has been essential in the development of this program. He's been

the maestro behind Iowa State's defense that has been top 10 in college basketball for five

years in a row. He's been great at developing big men. Look at Robert Jones from year one to

year three. There's a lot of examples of how good Kyle Green's been to this program. But at the same

time, when coaches are getting other jobs, that's an absolute win for the program because it means

that other people want what Iowa State has. That's a sign of health. The bigger the Outsleberger

tree gets, the better it is for him in the program going forward. Now, with that being said,
