Today, we had our last media availability with position coaches of fall camp.

We talked to Safeties Coach Deon Broomfield and cornerbacks coach Hank Poteet.

And it was fitting that we talked to them on the same day because both of them talked about

how much symmetry there is between their two rooms at practice.

Broomfield isn't afraid to coach the cornerbacks and Poteet isn't afraid to coach the

safeties. They're in lockstep together. And that makes it easier for players to be versatile.

Broomfield said that all big 12 safety, Jeremiah Cooper, has been playing all over the backfield

this fall from safety to corner. Here's Broomfield on Cooper's versatility. I mean, I think he's a

great safety. I think he's a great defensive back. And you look at Jalen Ramsey for the Steelers. You hear them talking about it. He's playing inside, outside. He's playing some safety. And I think when you have a guy that has the hips, the speed, you just try to put him in the best situation that you can put him in. But yeah, I think he just has a short area quickness if you look at like you just a skill set his short area quickness has changed the
