I'm going to look big picture and talk a lot of statistics, a lot of analytics, and what makes

Iowa State a true national championship contender. I know that's scary to hear, it's exciting to hear,

but with great expectations, it comes a lot of nerves and a lot of pressure, especially probably

for us, the fans, more so than the players. But what makes Iowa State so good this year

is that when you put it into perspective of past

teams, like you always thought of those Fred Hoyberg coach teams as elite, elite offenses

that, you know, they probably weren't the best defensively. Well, right now, Iowa State

on Ken Palm offensively is better than where any of Fred's teams finish the season.

And then you combine that with what Iowa State's doing on the defensive end, which we've come
