with what we just saw at the Orange Bowl.

Texas Tech shut out, 23-0 by Oregon.

This is detrimental to the reputation of the Big 12th.

Fair or not, we just watched Texas Tech get embarrassed because of their offense.

Their play calling, ultra-conservative, predictable, and it led to Baron Morton looking like he was seeing ghosts. He played horrible. They weren't able to get anything going all day

long. And when they did have an opportunity to make it a one score game, Morton through an inexplicable interception in the end zone.

I'm not here to break down the X's and O's, but what I saw out there was a Texas Tech defense

that belonged. A Texas Tech defense that proved what our eyes had been showing us all year long,

what the numbers have been backing up.

That Texas Tech defense was good enough to win a national championship,

and their offense came up short in every single way.

And fair or not, that completely damages the Big 12's reputation going forward.

This was the big 12 shot.

You didn't need to win a national championship this year.
