portal she announced on Instagram. Crooks is the program's second all-time leading score,

Crooks has done it in three years so far she was the nation's second leading scorer this year one of the best offensive basketball players in the entire country and it's a big loss for Iowa State

and explore what it means to take root again in new ground.

Her head coach, Bill Fenley,

also says in a statement now as nine players

from Iowa State's roster are in the portal.

It goes without saying that college sports have undergone tremendous change the past few years,

and our program obviously has been impacted by the current landscape this spring.

While I am sad and disappointed that some of our players have chosen to pursue other opportunities.

I want to thank them for their time at Iowa State and wish them all the best as they move on.
