as Tulane transfer, Arnold Barnes announces his commitment to Iowa State. His agent tells multiple

outlets. The running back from Tulane ran for over 700 yards and three seasons for the Green Wave,

seven touchdowns as well. And he comes into a room that needs him and needs some depth.

John Johnson's room has had some attrition over the past few weeks as Jaden Jackson left the program.

And then Saladin Allah suffered a torn Achilles in Spring Ball. So here comes Barnes and he'll be

the eighth running back in the room joining

Aden. Flora Cameron Pettaway, Easton Miller, Caleb Francois, River Peppers, Wyatt Archer, and

Gabriel Wilson. It's much needed. I think Barnes will fit in nicely as the goal lineback, probably

fitting in as the third string overall on the roster when you look at

what flora and pedway bring to the table there are more your speedbacks you probably don't want

them lining up fourth and one at the one every single time and i think that this is what barns

will come in to do i think that's what Allah was in

this program to do. All around makes total sense and it shapes out the running backs room and I can't
