Welcome to Enjoying the Journey with Evangelist Scott Paul.

For some, the Christian life has been reduced to a one day a week church service experience,

0:22.6

and yet God, in His Word, teaches us that we are to walk with Him daily.

0:26.6

Today we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us as we live the daily Christian life. Do you have any problems? I mean, anything at all right now that is really a battle for you, we all have them. There are many

0:57.6

daily blessings in the Christian life, but there are also daily battles. One of the interesting

1:02.8

things that I've discovered in my own Christian journey is that much of the blessing comes through

1:08.1

the battles. In other words, it's near the front lines, it's in the

1:11.7

heat of war where the victory is seen and where God is revealed. It's not always after the battles

1:17.8

1:35.5

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some

1:41.4

strange thing happen unto you, but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of

1:46.4

Christ sufferings, that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1:54.2

Don't think this is a strange thing. No, look, Satan, the adversary of God and the accuser of the

1:59.6

brethren, he constantly stands against the Lord and the Lord's people.

2:03.6

He attacked Job. He stood against David in 1 Chronicles 21.

2:08.1

He raised his head against Joshua the high priest and Zachariah 3.

2:12.2

He sought to stop Daniel's prayer from being answered in Daniel 10.

2:15.7

And then he even came against the perfect man,

2:18.8

the Lord Jesus Christ, the very son of God. Do you really think you'll be the exception? No,

2:23.9

there are spiritual battles. There are daily battles. But hear these words, but rejoice.
