One other from our grab bag, I saw this yesterday and Jeffrey Dahmer's dad, who I didn't even

know was still alive, he has a very bad hair dye job because I remember singing an interview

with him years ago and his hair was I think just like white and now it's red.

But that, beside the point, gave an interview with Dr. Phil.

And I want to preface by saying that I can't imagine how painful it is to go through a large

period of your life knowing that your child was an absolute monster and maniac who inflicted

the harm and suffering that Jeffrey Dahmer did.

I want to start by saying this, but he told Dr. Phil, and this is probably in the ultimate

of the well duh categories that he missed some red flags.

Do you think in retrospect that there were red flags, there were warning signs that you

missed?

There definitely were warning signs that I missed, but I didn't believe it or it's hard to

believe.

It really is.

I'll give you one example.

When he was about somewhere in the 11, 12 to 14 age range, he roamed around the country

roads where we lived and gathered on his bike with big plastic bags, the remains of various

animals, foxes, you know, small dogs, animals that have been killed on the road and took

them back home and ours was extremely heavily wooded and lot, a very rough terrain where

he did as I found out later at the time of his so-called insanity trial, found out for

the first time there that he did this and he kept the animals and felt them, explored

them, their insides, their untrails and terrible things like that, although I've had friends
