Dad, thanks for joining me at the Story House. Kick us off with a little joke. You got a dad joke?

Okay, I sure do. And it's a Thanksgiving, dad joke. What kind of key can't open doors?

A turkey. This is true. Notice how I'm getting better in my delivery. That a good delivery because it could be a bad dad joke

but my delivery just saves it it brings it to the top and then did you hear about the turkey that

went to the prom he went to the butterball okay very good all right um hey uh we're continuing our Thanksgiving series, and it's almost Thanksgiving.

And what's one of our main concern?

It's what's on the menu.

And boy, do I love to eat at Thanksgiving time.

We all have such a wide variety of food on our Thanksgiving menu.

There's something for everyone. And I love to,

somebody complained, said, I don't like Thanksgiving because all families do sit around the table,

eat stuff themselves, and then they go in the living room and try to watch a game and they

complain because their bellies are full. I like that experience. So, and each of us also have a wide variety of people, not just food, but a wide variety of

people around our Thanksgiving table each year.

Just because we're related doesn't mean we are all the same.

All too often, the differences become uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

We all have a dysfunctional cousin Eddie. What if this year we put aside our differences in

awkwardness and put our arms around each other? What if this year we changed the Thanksgiving
