Obviously, like all of you, I'm sure, we've been heartbroken to see what took place recently

with the flooding in Texas and specifically with the lives that were lost

at a camp there and just the news has been heartbreaking and so I want to go to my dad here today

and dad thanks for being here I thought maybe you could share some just some encouragement and then

we'll spend a moment in prayer for all of those who

have lost family members and those who are hurting right now. Yes. Thank you, Matthew. I'm going to

talk just a few minutes on don't stop praying for Texas and most everybody knows by now

Since Friday, July 4th, the cities of Kerrville and Hunt, Texas, including the mystic

children's Christian campground, have experienced the tragedy of a terrible flood.

The waters rose from Guadalupe River 26 feet in 45 minutes. They say that's 100 or

a thousand year experience. The most recent statistics are 82 lives lost. They're saying that it could

go up to 100. Of that number, 27 were children. Also, 10 girls and one

counselor are still missing from the camp, and there are still many others missing from the area.

When we see these things unfold across on TV screen, we weep and mourn with the people of Texas.
