Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of the TaxBide podcast series. I'm your host, Peter,

and today we're diving into two major topics of European law, DAC6 and the broader development

shaping the European tax landscape. Now, a lot has been said about Dax6 in the past,

but we see in the past months some renewed attention to this topic

and to the potential impact this can have for you in the audience.

So I wanted to take the opportunity to do a little recap

of what exactly D deck six is about,

but also to shed some light on the ongoing developments in that space.

And for that, I invited a number of experts in my meeting room here.

First of all, Amber is here.

Amber is a member of our global tax and trans-pricing team and focuses amongst others on deck six.

Dennis, Dennis is well known to the audience. He's a frequent speaker on our international tax

webinars and I can give a little insight there. The next one is upcoming in September, so keep an eye for that one.

And Dennis is, of course, here because he's monitoring

very closely the European Union and US developments in the international tax space. And last

but not least, I'm welcoming Bart. Bart is heading our rewards and personal tax team here in Belgium

and leading our Emia reward capability. He's also closely monitoring the Belgian tax policy developments and I'm

interested to see if there's any sign of DAC6 in those tax policy developments. So Bart,
