positive way so why don't you tell me about why you decided to publish this

book and what you have gleaned from R. L. Dabney and just tell me a little about

yourself and what you're up to as well.

Sure, well a little bit about myself. I'm a seminary graduate, went to Reform Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, and I actually just finished law school, so kind of dabbling in two different fields. As far as

Dabney, you know 19th century Presbyterian pastor and theologian,

theologian, extremely influential

used to be considered a hero of the church,

certainly in Presbyterianism.

And he's really been dismissed.

You know, today he's essentially ignored by most even within

Presbyterian circles in my experience.

Yet he was, as I said, extremely important.

He was a leader in the Southern Presbyterian Church,
