over. We just continue the journey day by day step by step and that's what happens. So here we are. Glad to be here.

Glad for the fresh start of a new week.

Looking forward to doing my very best to live it well. I trust that is your intention as well.

One of our intentions is to show up for each other every day.

Take the next step forward every day and allow the scriptures to inform what we do and what we say and what we think.

Today, Isaiah chapter 57 verse 15 through 59 verse 21. For this is what the high and exalted one says, the one who rules forever, whose name is holy.

I dwell an exalted and holy place, but also with the discouraged and humiliated, in order to cheer up the

humiliated and to encourage the discouraged.

For I will not be hostile forever or perpetually angry.

For then man's spirit would grow faint before me,

the life-giving breath I created.

I was angry because of their sinful greed. breath I created.

I was angry because of their sinful greed.

I attacked them and angrily rejected them,

yet they remained disobedient and stubborn. I have seen their behavior, but I will heal them. I will lead them and I will

provide comfort to them and those who mourn with them. I am the one who gives them reason to celebrate.
