Today is the 22nd day of September.

Welcome back around the global campfire as we launch into our work week.

Ah, I'm just looking out across these rolling hills of Tennessee.

A big flock of birds just flew by the windows here.

Always look out these big windows and imagine us all out there in a big, big circle around the fire.

With these birds flying by it, there goes another flock of birds.

I'm going to take that as such a beautiful gift, a beautiful sign.

I am so grateful to be here together with you today.

So grateful for the next step forward on this grand journey through the Bible.

So grateful for this being the 20th time.

Getting to the 22nd day of September and the 20th time moving through the book of Isaiah which is what we're doing at this point so let's let's jump in Isaiah is like we're reading the story of Hezekiah, King Hezekiah now.

And we've certainly seen this story in the books of Kings and Chronicles,

but capturing it from this prophetic view, let's move forward.

Isaiah,

chapter 39, verse 1,

to 41, verse 16 today.

Merodak, Beladden, the son of Beladden, was now king of Babylonia.

And when he learned that Hezekiah was well, he sent messengers with letters and a gift for him.

Hezekiah welcomed the messengers and showed them all the silver, the gold, the spices, and the fine oils that were in his storehouse. He even showed them where he kept his weapons. Nothing in his

palace or in his entire kingdom was kept hidden from them. I asked Hezekiah, where did these

men come from? What did they want?
