Step into this together.

Look out across the horizon.

And imagine what our thoughts, words, and deeds are going to say and do and think this week

with the story that we're going to tell is going to be and it's always may we may we be wise

may we choose wisely at every crossroads?

Because as the scriptures have told us,

wisdom is there at every crossroads,

saying, go this way, don't go that one.

Listen may we listen to the voice of wisdom in our thoughts words and deeds this week

one of the fantastic and primary ways that we do that is show up for each other every day here

around the global campfire and allow the scriptures to be a part of our thoughts and our

words and our deeds. So this week we will read from the new English translation.

We're continuing our journey through the Book of Jeremiah.

If we're not mistaken, we're going to finish up Jeremiah tomorrow, but that's then and this is now.

Today, Jeremiah chapter 51 versus 1 through 53.

The Lord says, I will cause a destructive wind blow against Babylon and the people who inhabit Babylonia.

I will send people to Winnow Babylonia like a wind blowing away chaff.

They will winnow her and strip her land bare.
