We're reading from the God's Word translation this week.

Jeremiah chapter 35 verse 1 through 36 verse 32.

The Lord spoke His Word to Jeremiah during the reign of Jehoyakim, son of King Josiah

of Judah.

He said, go to the family of Rekab and talk to them.

Take them into one of the side rooms in the Lord's temple and offer them a drink of wine.

I took Jeyaz and Naya, who was the son of Jeremiah and the grandson of Haba Zaniyah.

And I took Jeyaz and Naya's brothers and all his sons, the whole family of Rekab.

I brought them into the Lord's temple and to the side room of the sons of Hainan.
