Today is the 18th day of October. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is wonderful

to be here with you today as we gather around the Global Campfire and take the next step

forward together. And by the way, hang out until the end today. I have a story to tell and an

important resource to tell you about. So we'll do that at the end, but we are at the beginning.

So let's step forward together. And that next step forward is always, well it always begins wherever

we left off. And right now that happens to be the Book of Jeremiah. And so our step forward today

leads us to Jeremiah chapter 31, verse 27, through 32, verse 44.

Surely the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of

Judah, with the seed of man and with the seed of beast, it shall come to pass. Then as I have watched

over them to pluck up and to break down and to throw down and to destroy and to afflict.

So I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord.

And those days they will say no more, the fathers of Eden's sour grapes and the children's teeth

are set on edge. But everyone will die for his own iniquity. Every man that eats the sour grape,

his teeth will be set on edge. Surely the days are coming, says the Lord,

when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

It will not be according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I

took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they broke my covenant,

although I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this shall be the covenant that I will

make with the house of Israel. After those days, says the Lord, I will put my law within them

and write it in their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people.

They shall teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother saying,

no the Lord, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the
