Today is the sixth day of the month of October.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It is great to be here with you today as we greet a brand new shiny sparkly week

and walk into it together

and this will be the first full-blown week of this month.

And yeah, we need those new mercies

and we need that resets.

So it's all out in front of us, like we say, each week. This is gonna be a week, and it's gonna be a week of our lives, and it going to be part of the story of our time on Earth? How are we going

to spend the currency that is our lives. How will our time shape the story of what we're

telling? Because of what we're telling because we get to choose that.

And so it's all out in front of us.

May we use the scriptures to help inform those choices, those thoughts, words, and deeds that

will actually be our life and will actually be speaking the truth of who we are?

Because it's all of those things, thoughts, words, and deeds that tell the truth.

Words, as we know, they can say anything.

We can be as deceitful as the Serpent in the garden, but our thoughts, words and deeds will tell the truth. May we walk in the truth this week and may we find the truth as we continue

to immerse ourselves in this grand voyage that is the scriptures.

So we're in the book of Jeremiah, kind of just getting going in it, we'll be in it for a while,

when the Book of Jeremiah will read from the new international version this week.

And today, chapter 6, verse 16 through 8, verse 7.
