Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is wonderful to be with you now that we are kind of officially in the holiday season.

Thanksgiving is past us. And every Sunday that we experience is an Advent Sunday as we move toward Christmas Eve Christmas Day and then on to the new year and so this has been an important week Here we are at the end of the week.

And we can reflect back because we stood out here

before it ever happened.

I made some choices.

So reflecting back now on how those choices went

and how we handled things,

well, that is review.

That is self-awareness and so let's look back even as we look forward.

We are moving through the book of Daniel at this point in the Old Testament.

Our step for today will be Daniel, chapter 6.

Darius decided to appoint 120 sat traps over the kingdom, stationed throughout the realm, and over them three administrators, including Daniel.

These sat traps would be accountable to them so that the king would not be defrauded.

Daniel distinguished himself above the administrators in satps because he had an extraordinary spirit.

So the king planned to set him over the whole realm.

The administrators and satraps therefore kept trying to find a charge against Daniel regarding the kingdom,

but they could find no charge or corruption, for he was trustworthy, and no negligence or corruption

was found in him.

Then these men said, we will never find any charge against this Daniel, unless we find

something against him concerning the law of his God.

So the administrators and satraps went together to the king and said to him,
