Today is the 13th day of November. Welcome to the daily audio Bible. I am Brian and it's great to be here with you as we move into a brand new shiny sparkly week and move our way through the center of another one of our months together.

And we only have one more after this one before we complete this revolution through the Bible. I don't want to start thinking about that just yet though.

We got a ways to go, a lot of territory to cover and what a joy it is to be able to gather around the global campfire every day and move forward together.

So we got a brand new week. It's out in front of us. How we live it will be the story of this week. And the story of this week will combine with all of the other weeks of this month and it'll tell the story of this month.

And then all those months are gathered together until the story of our year. But here we are with a brand new week in front of us. So let's walk the path of wisdom.

And let's continue to immerse ourselves in the scriptures each and every day.

So the brand new week will read from the new international version this week. And we'll go back and pick up where we left off, which takes us back into the book of Ezekiel.

The word of the Lord came to me.

Son of man, take up a lament concerning tire. Say to tire, situated at the gateway to the sea, merchant of peoples on many coasts.

This is what the sovereign Lord says. You say tire, I am perfect in beauty. Your domain was on the high seas. Your builders brought your beauty to perfection.

They made all your timbers of juniper from sinier. They took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you. Of oaks from Beshan, they made your ores. Of Cyprus wood, from the coasts of Cyprus, they made your deck adorned with ivory.

Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail and served as your banner. Your awnings were of blue and purple from the coast of Elisha. Men of cydon and Arvad were your oresmen. Your skilled men, tire, were abored as your sailors.

Veteran craftsmen of Bibloth swore on board as shipwrites to cock your seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside trade for your wares.

Men of Persia, Lydia and Put served as soldiers in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls bringing you splendor.

Men of Arvad and Helak guarded your walls on every side. Men of Gamad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls. They brought your beauty to perfection.

Tarshish did business with you because of your great wealth of goods. They exchanged silver, iron, tin and lead for your merchandise.

Greece, Tuba and Meshak did business with you. They traded human beings and articles of bronze for your wares. Men of Batagorma exchanged chariot horses, cavalry horses and mules for your merchandise.

The men of Rhodes traded with you and many coastlands were your customers. They paid you with ivory tusks and ebony. Aram did business with you because of your many products.

They exchanged turquoise, purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies for your merchandise. Judah and Israel traded with you. They exchanged wheat from a nith and confections, honey, olive oil and balm for your wares.

Damascus did business with you because of your many products and great wealth of goods. They offered wine from Hellbond, wool from Zahar and casks of wine from Isal in exchange for your wares.

Rod iron, casia and calumas. De Dan traded in saddle blankets with you. Arabia and all the princes of G'dar were your customers. They did business with you in lambs, rams and goats.
