Today is the third day of May. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Welcome back around the

global campfire. It is great to be here with you today as we bring to a close a week. The first time

that we come to the ending of a week in the month of May,

because we're just moving into the month of May,

but it is wonderful to be here with you today, as it is every day.

One step forward every day leads us through the whole Bible.

And the Bible has its way with us.

It touches everything about us.

And we're in the book of judges,

and we're seeing a lot of what it looks like for people to do whatever they think is right in their own eyes,

which unfortunately in this and these stories often lead to doing evil in the side of the Lord and the repercussions of that

and we just concluded the story of the judge Samson yesterday

so we will be continuing forward today. Let's jump in. Judges,

chapters 17 and 18 today.

There was a man from the hill country of Ephraim named Micah.

He said to his mother,

The eleven hundred pieces of silver taken from you,

and that I heard you place a curse on,

Here's the silver.

I took it.
