Today is the 29th day of March.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It is, it's always wonderful to be here around the global campfire. It's a special day, a special day, at least for those of us who follow Jesus.

Today is known as Good Friday.

This is a day where we commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus,

the sacrifice of Jesus. And we also face the stark truth of what happened there.

That God came to be with us. And we reject. that we tried to kill him and that we rejected God so severely that we try to kill him.

And that blindness is all over the earth.

And we are here to open our eyes,

as Jesus told us and be lights in the darkness and so we

commemorate this day deeply and it should actually shake us to the core.

Well, we'll talk about that maybe in a little bit.

We have gathered to take the next step forward in the scriptures.

And so let's take that next step.

We are right now in the book of Deuteronomy.

Moses is passionately relaying, giving, offering his final discourses, his final thoughts before he's going to die and the children of Israel are going into the

promised land and we've been waiting for that like since Genesis so we're here

Moses is giving them their final charge we pick up the story

Deuteronomy chapters 11 and 12 today.

Love the Lord Your God and always carry out his requirements, his statutes, his ordinances, and his commandments. Know this today.
