0:12.0	to be here with you today as we gather around the global campfire and get cozy and take
0:21.4	the next step forward together. And our next step forward is going to lead us back into
0:29.4	the Book of Deuteronomy. And back to the last things that Moses is imparting to the children
0:38.0	of Israel. And so let's dive in today, Deuteronomy, chapters 11 and 12.
0:46.8	Love the Lord your God and always carry out his requirements, his statutes, his ordinances,
1:00.4	and his commandments. Know this today. I am not addressing your children who have not known and
1:08.4	seen all these things. The discipline of the Lord your God, his greatness, his strong hand,
1:16.0	and his outstretched arm, his signs and his deeds that he performed in Egypt against Pharaoh,
1:22.8	King of Egypt, and against all his land. What he did to the army of Egypt and its horses and
1:29.3	chariots, how he caused the water of the Red Sea to flow over their heads when they pursued you,
1:35.6	how the Lord has destroyed them to this day. What he did for you in the wilderness until you came
1:43.2	to this place. What he did to Daithin and a biarum, the sons of Eliab, son of Rubin,
1:50.3	how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them with their households, their tents, and every
1:55.6	living thing that was at their feet in the middle of all Israel. Know today, it is your own eyes
2:04.3	that have seen every deed that the Lord your God performed. Therefore, keep the whole set of
2:11.2	commands that I am giving you today so that you may have the strength to enter and take possession
2:16.4	of the land that you are about to cross into and possess, and so that you may live for a long time
2:22.8	on the land that the Lord your God swore to give to your fathers and to their descendants.
2:28.4	A land flowing with milk and honey. The land that you are about to enter in possess is not like
2:35.4	that land of Egypt that you left, where you were accustomed to sow your seed and water it by hand
2:41.6	like a vegetable garden. But the land you are entering to possess is a land of mountains and valleys.
