Today is the 23rd day of March.

Today is my wedding anniversary to my wife Jill.

So happy anniversary to Jill, my wife, but...

Well, I suppose anybody who's been married for any length of time

if you step back

and look at it, every anniversary is a miracle.

Right? It's the most beautiful, most challenging thing to be in a covenant of marriage.

If you stay with it long enough and not give up, well, every way that that can be challenged will.

So I guess the truth is for us to have had even a first anniversary is a miracle. For us to get to 29?

Well, that's thousands, if not millions, miracles.

We should not have made it.

We should not have made it this far.

Nor should the Daily Audio Bible ever exist like all of the

things that our lives are made up of now. All they are is us walking in grace, true unmerited favor.

If we had gotten what we deserved in our lives, I have no idea where we'd be. We would not be

together. We definitely wouldn't be here around the global campfire. Having built a safe place

that we need so desperately in our lives each and every day in the word of God

to direct us in every possible way.

I don't suppose that me sharing this is something that you, if you have been married more

than like a month, I cannot relate to on some level, but

to spend your life with somebody

to actually see over the years the depths
