Today is the 16th day of March. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It's great to be here with you.

Brand new, shiny, sparkly week. I like it when we get here. The reset of it, at least in my own

mental mind, the reset of it. No matter what happened last week,

this is a fresh star, a new story. And yeah, lots of things do get pulled into the week from last

week, right? That's how things go, but we're going forward. Get a fresh star.

We get to live this week.

And however it looks is the story of our lives.

And if we made a mess of last week, there may be a mess during this week. But how we live it out leads us into the week after into the week after, and the week after,

and pretty soon we are walking a narrow path that is safe and wise.

So, fresh dark, a brand new, shiny, sparkly new week.

Very interesting story between the king of numbers at this point.

Very interesting story between the king of Moab, his name is Balak, and a prophet named Balam, who's been summoned to curse Israel.

And kind of the give and take, the ebb and flow, the play out of that story.

We talked about that quite a bit yesterday because it is deeply revealing

about our own situational convictions and how our pride will get us doing things that we know

we cannot do without destruction, without harm, and that if we do do them, then we have to start living lies and we start

creating a web that will ultimately destroy us while we see the situation of ways where we

try to get God to look at things from different angles to see if he'll give us what we want once

he's already said that he's not in it.

So, Belech and Baelim have a lot to show us, and they showed us a lot yesterday.
