Today is the 14th day of March. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is wonderful to be here with you today around the global campfire.

And I turn the mic on, so sorry about that. But what I have before me is our next step forward.

And that next step will lead us back into the book of numbers. The children of Israel have turned away from the promised land and are wandering in the wilderness at this point.

But it's a lot of people and it's disrupting all of the nations around them as we will soon see.

Numbers, chapters 21, verse 1, through 22, verse 20 today.

When the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Nagab, heard that Israel was coming by way of a thorem. He fought against Israel and took some of them captive.

Then Israel made a vow to the Lord and said, If you will indeed give this people into our hands, then we will utterly destroy their towns.

The Lord listened to the voice of Israel and handed over the Canaanites and they utterly destroyed them in their towns. So the place was called Horma.

From out hore they set out by the way to the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. But the people became discouraged on the way.

So Moses prayed for the people and the Lord said to Moses, Make a poisonous serpent and set it on a pole and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.

So Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it upon a pole and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.

These Israelites set out in Camden, Obot. They set out from Obot and Camden lie a barren in the wilderness bordering Moab toward the sunrise.

From there they set out in Camden in the Wadi's the Red. From there they set out in Camden on the other side of the Arnon in the wilderness that extends from the boundary of the Amorites.
