The day is the fourth day of March. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian and it is great to be here with you today.

Kind of a special day in my life. It's my birthday. And as I go through these years, I have determined that the best thing for me to do is to count my birthdays and

daily audio Bible years. And which means that this is the 18th birthday that I have experienced since the daily audio Bible began. I can't believe I am finally an adult.

At least in daily audio Bible land and the daily audio Bible. Wow. Wow. 18 birthdays. And every day in between all of them has been spent here around the global campfire.

And I don't know what's kind of hitting me. I heard this year not in a bad way just in this awareness like wow we've really really dedicated our lives to this for a very long time. And it's changed life irreversibly to be in the scriptures every single day for all of these years.

And I look forward to as many years to the next 18. And so let's let's dive in and enjoy our adulthood together as we take the next step forward together in the scriptures.

And we just are getting moved in just starting the book of numbers we began it yesterday, which is where we will pick up the story today.

We're reading from the new international version this week, which is today numbers chapters two and three.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, the Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it. Each of them under their standards and holding the banners of their family.

On the east toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard.

The leader of the people of Judah is nation son of a minedab. His division number 74,600. The tribe of Issaqar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issaqar is nothing now son of Zouar. His division numbers 54,400.

The tribe of Zebulin will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulin is Eliyab son of Ilan. His division numbers 57,400. All the men assigned to the camp of Judah according to their divisions number 186,400. They will set out first. On the south will be the divisions of the camp of Rubin under their standard.

The leader of the people of Rubin is Elezor son of Shadur. His division numbers 46,500. The tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shalumiel son of Zour Shadai. His division numbers 59,300. The tribe of Gad will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliyab son of Duhul.

His division numbers 45,650. All the men assigned to the camp of Rubin according to their divisions number 151,450. They will set out second. Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp each in their own place under their standard.

On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elezshama son of Amaihud. His division numbers 40,500. The tribe of Manasa will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasa is Gamaliel son of Pedezor. His division numbers 32,200. The tribe of Benjamin will be next.

The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abiden son of Gideonai. His division numbers 35,400. All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions number 108,100. They will set out third. On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard.

The leader of the people of Dan is Ahayyatsar son of Amashadai. His division number 62,700. The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Padiel son of Okran. His division numbers 41,500. The tribe of Naftali will be next.

The leader of the people of Naftali is Ahaira son of Inan. His division numbers 53,400. All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last under their standards. These are the Israelites counted according to their families. All the men in the camps by their divisions number 600,000. They will be next.

..3,505. The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites as the Lord commanded Moses. So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses. And is the way they encamped under their standards. And that is the way they set out each of them with their clan and family.

And is the account of the family of Aaron and Moses at the time the Lord spoke to Moses at Mount Sinai.

The names of the sons of Aaron were Nehdab, the firstborn and Abahul, Ali-Azar and Ithamar. Those were the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests who were ordained to serve as priests.

Nehdab and Abahul, however, died before the Lord when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the desert of Sinai.
