Today is the first day of March.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

Greetings to a brand new shiny, sparkly month,

even as we're bringing a week to a close.

All these transitions, they just don't stop in life, do things.

Like always something is shifting somewhere, but we're just transitioning out of a week

and into a month. Welcome to the third month of the year. Welcome to the 20th, March 1st. I got a birthday

coming up this month in a couple of days. It'll be my 20th. So I'm glad that we're here

around the global campfire wherever you may be on this beautiful blue planet

that we live on whatever continent, whatever time zone. We're all in this together and there is

never a moment that any of us are listening to the Daily Audio Bible that somebody else isn't as well.

We truly are a global campfire and so let's create that oasis for each other and carry it into this new month.

Obviously new month is just a new day, and we're day by day step by step, so we

pick up where we left off, which leads us to journey back out into the book of

Leviticus.

Today, Leviticus chapter 24, verse 1 through 25, verse 46.

The Lord told Moses to say to the community of Israel,

You must supply the purest olive oil for the lamps in the sacred tent, so they will keep burning.

Aaron will set up the gold lambs stand in the holy place of this sacred tent.

Then he will light the seven lamps that must be kept burning there in my presence every night from now on. This law will never change. The Lord said,
