0:00.0	Today is the 20th day of June. Welcome to the daily audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is wonderful
0:09.5	to be here with you today as we gather. You had again and take the next step forward
0:16.2	together on the adventure through the Bible this year.
0:20.5	Walking back out to where we left off leads us back out into the book of First Kings, or
0:25.9	we are continuing our journey through the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah and
0:32.1	some of the prophetic voices that were intermingled throughout the reigns of the different kings.
0:37.2	So let's pick up the story. Today, First Kings, chapter 22.
0:48.4	There was peace between Israel and Syria for the next two years, but in the third year
0:53.8	King Jehoshaphat of Judah went to seek King Ahab of Israel.
0:59.1	Ahab asked his officials,
1:01.2	Why is it that we have not done anything to get back a remodeled in Gilead from the King
1:06.0	of Syria? It belongs to us.
1:09.5	And Ahab asked Jehoshaphat,
1:11.4	Will you go with me to attack Ramoth?
1:14.3	I am ready when you are.
1:15.9	Jehoshaphat answered,
1:17.4	And so are my soldiers and my cavalry.
1:20.7	But first, let's consult the Lord.
1:24.4	So Ahab called in the prophets, about 400 of them and asked them,
1:28.8	Should I go and attack Ramoth or not?
1:32.3	A TACATE, they answered,
1:34.8	The Lord will give you victory.
