I'm Brian.

It is awesome to be here with you today.

Grateful.

Grateful to be here with you today as we gather together again from the four corners of the earth from everywhere.

Together. To be together, centered around one common purpose,

and that is to take the next step forward in the scriptures.

So I'm glad, my heart is glad that we can be here together today. We're in first kings, and we've gotten through a lot of territory.

We now know that the kingdom of Israel has split into two kingdoms,

and we're kind of walking down the path of two different kingdoms and two different kings at the same time.

And so we're in a portion where it's like we've got to pay attention.

And just remember Judah and the king of Judah,

whoever happens to be the king at the time that we're reading,

is in the south and that's where Jerusalem is.

And then there are 10 tribes that are north of Jerusalem.

That is the kingdom of Israel.

And whoever its king is, we just have to keep track of Judah and Israel.

So let's jump in.

First, Kings chapter 15, verse 25 through 17, verse 24 today.

Nadab, son of Jeroboam, began to rule Israel in Asa's second year as king of Judah.

He ruled for two years.
