| 0:41.0 | But today, Second Kings chapter 22 verse 3 through 23 verse 30. |
| 0:54.0 | In King Josiah's 18th year, the King sent the Secretary Sir Faun, son of Ezekielia, son of Meshulum, to the house of the Lord saying, |
| 1:05.0 | Go up to Hilkiah the High Priest and have him weigh out the entire amount of silver which has been brought to the house of the Lord, which the gatekeepers have received from the people. |
| 1:16.0 | It is to be given to those who are appointed to supervise the work on the house of the Lord. |
| 1:21.0 | They are to give it to those who are working in the house of the Lord to repair the damage to the temple. |
| 1:28.0 | Give it to the craftsmen, builders, and stone masons so they can buy wood and quarried stone to repair the damage. |
| 1:36.0 | But no accounting is to be demanded for the silver which is given to them because they are acting honestly. |
| 1:43.0 | Then Hilkiah the High Priest said to Shaffan the Secretary, |
| 1:48.0 | I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. |
| 1:52.0 | Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaffan and he read it, |
| 1:56.0 | Then Shaffan the Secretary went to the King and reported, |
| 1:59.0 | Your servants have paid out the silver which was found in the temple, and they have given it to those who are appointed to supervise the work on the Lord's house. |
| 2:08.0 | Shaffan the Secretary told the King, |
| 2:12.0 | Hilkiah the Priest has given me a scroll. |
| 2:15.0 | Then Shaffan read it in the presence of the King. |
| 2:18.0 | When the King heard the words of the book of the law, he tore his clothes. |
| 2:24.0 | Then the King commanded Hilkiah the Priest, a high-comer son of Shaffan, |
| 2:29.0 | aught-bores son of Mekia, Shaffan the Secretary, and Issaea the servant of the King. |
