Today is the 25th day of the month of January.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It's really great to be here with you today as we greet a shiny, sparkly week, the last full week of this month, because the last day of this week is the last day of this month.

So here we are. Like we do. Brand new shiny, sparkly week. Can you see it? Just imagine us all standing here facing the same direction

and that's forward

we're all just hearing a big line

and a big grouping we're looking out

over this week

that is upon us

and this week

our task is to tell the story of our lives and we will we have no choice we will

and that will be done with thoughts and words of course and choices and actions and it will all add up and it will be the story of our life

this week and so we're in this practice we're in this idea of becoming self-aware, being aware of the fact that life isn't just happening to us, and we're not just reacting to everything.

We're happening to life, and we have a lot of control made in the image of God to create what life is going to look like this week.

Certainly there are things that are unforeseen that happen all the time,

but as we get into the rhythm of watching,

we know better how to respond instead of just react.

And this is so very important to our work of going through the Bible and allowing it to transform

us.

So, here we are, friends, together.

Looking out over the last week of the first month of the year, if you can believe it.
