It's great to be here around the global campfire with you today as we gather and let it all go and

just have these moments in the scriptures.

It is fantastic.

We are so close to the end of Genesis.

I think we finish the book of Genesis tomorrow. But we are working our way through the story of how

the children of Israel came to be, how it is that they got to Egypt, and that

encompasses the story of Joseph which we are continuing.

Genesis, chapters 48 is getting weaker. So he took his two sons

Manassa and Ephraim with him.

When Jacob was informed, your son Joseph is here now,

he pulled himself together and sat up in bed.

Jacob said to Joseph,

God Almighty appeared to me in Luzz in the land of Canaan.

He blessed me and said to me, I am about to give you many children to increase your numbers and to make you a large group of

peoples. I will give this land to your descendants following you as an enduring possession.

Now your two sons born to you in the land of Egypt before I arrived in Egypt are my own.

Afreham and Manass are just like Rubin and Simeon to me.

Your family who is born to you after them are yours, but their inheritance will be determined under their brother's names.
