Welcome back to the global campfire.

Great to be here with you today. Day three, three of 365, our first weekend with a brand new beginning and our first full week of the year out in front of us.

And this is kind of move-in week, just getting our bearings, getting our rhythm, getting ourselves settled for the journey that the Bible is.

So we'll continue to do that.

We've moved into Genesis.

We've moved into Matthew.

We'll talk about the Psalms when we get there today.

And I'm sure a bunch of other things.

Let's jump into the scriptures today.

Genesis, chapters 5 through 7.

This is the written account of the descendants of Adam.

When God created human beings, they made them to be like himself.

He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them human.

When Adam was 130 years old, he became the father of a son who was just like him, in his very image.

He named his son Seth.

After the birth of Seth, Adam lived another 800 years, and he had other sons and daughters.

Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.

When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Inash.

After the birth of Inosh, Seth lived another 807 years, and he had other sons and daughters.

Seth lived 912 years, and then he died.

When Inosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan.
