Today is the third day of January. Welcome to the daily audio Bible. I am Brian. It is wonderful

to be here with you as we take our third step. We got 362 more steps after this to get our way through

the year together and community and all the way

through the Bible but or here and we're in a great part of the story where

everything begins to unfold for us.

And so let's dive in and take that next step forward.

That will lead us back into the book of Genesis.

And today we will read Genesis 5, 6, and 7.

This is the written account of the descendants of Adam.

When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself.

He created them male and female, and he became

When Adam was 130 years old he became the father of his son who was just like him in his very image. He named his son Seth.

After the birth of Seth, Adam lived another 800 years and he had other sons and daughters.

Adam lived 930 years and then he died.

When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.

After the birth of Enosh, Seth lived another 807 years,

and he had other sons and daughters. Seth lived 912 years and then he died.

When Inosh was 90 years old he became the father of Keenan.

After the birth of Keenan, Inosh lived another 815 years and he had other sons and daughters.

Inosh lived 905 years and then he died.

When Keenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalalalal.

After the birth of Mahalalalalalalalalalalalal.
