Welcome back around the global campfire. I am Brian. It is great to be here with you today as we

press forward in our week toward the conclusion of a week, which will also conclude the second month

of the year, a couple days from now, crazy as it might be.

I'm grateful to be here with you today.

Honored, it is a privilege.

I am deeply grateful for our home base, our oasis here around the global campfire,

where we are safe and where the scriptures can speak and where we can be in community safely

and where repair and our lives and our relationships inside of ourselves

can happen as we day by day just step forward just keep showing up just keep showing up and watch

what the Bible ends up doing over the course of a year inside of us.

So, fantastic to be here with you today.

Ready to take the next step forward, which leads us back into the book of Leviticus.

Today, chapter 19, verse 1 through 20, verse 21.

The Lord also said to Moses, give the following instructions to the entire community of Israel.

You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

Each of you must show great respect for your mother and father, and you must always observe my Sabbath days of rest.

I am the Lord your God.

Do not put your trust in idols or make metal images of gods for yourselves.

I am the Lord your God.

When you sacrifice a peace offering to the Lord, offer it properly so you will be accepted by God.

The sacrifice must be eaten on the same day you offer it or on the next day.
