Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

It is great to be here with you today, gathering, yet again, showing up again.

Glad you're here.

Glad I'm here.

Glad there's somewhere to be.

Right here around the global campfire.

This little oasis, this little safe place that we create for each other every day by showing up.

I'm glad we can take the next step forward on our journey through the entire Bible this year.

We are working our way through the book of Exodus at this point and some instructions that God is giving in order for these recently freed slaves who have been enslaved for 430 years,

so quite a long, long time to change their identity.

They are free now.

But freedom, freedom is challenging.

And we've been able to observe a lot of that,

just the physical challenges of being in the wilderness,

but also just the back and forth of their

hearts being pulled in different directions as they face these challenges.

So let's take that next step forward as we continue with these instructions.

Exodus chapter 35 verse 10, through 36, verse 38 today.

Come, all of you who are gifted craftsmen, Construct everything that the Lord has commanded.
