I'm Brian.

It's wonderful to be here with you today.

Gathering again around the global campfire.

Nice and toasty and cozy and warm here.

And we're here to take the next step forward on our journey through the scriptures,

which leads us back into the book of Exodus, where we are in this

portion of the scripture now where the children of Israel are in the

wilderness and how they're going to be organized, how things

will govern how they become knit together as a society and as a people and the priorities these things

are being laid out for us and so let's continue the journey, Exodus chapter 28.

Bring Aaron your brother near to you from among the people of Israel, and his sons with him

so that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

Bring Aaron and Naidab, Abihu, Eliezer, and Ithamar,

Aaron's sons.

You shall make holy garments for Aaron, your brother,

to give him honor and splendour.

Speak to all the skilled craftsmen,

whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,

so that they make Aaron's garments to consecrate him,

so that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
