Today is the 28th day of December.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It's great to be here with you today, today, and every day.

But, man, there's only a few days left, so it's great to be here with you.

As we take these last days and come in for

for a nice, soft landing as we are near the end of the Bible, and then we'll take off again.

But we're not there.

There's all of that out in front of us.

We're here.

We're in the in-between.

This in-between week.

Between Christmas and New Year's, this deeply reflective week,

where we contemplate what is to come in our future.

And one of the ways that we always inform ourselves is to let the scripture speak.

And so let's dive in for today.

We're in the book of Zechariah.

Today, chapters 12 and 13.

An oracle. The Word of the Lord concerning Israel. This is what the Lord declares, who stretches

out the heavens, who lays who stretches out the heavens,

who lays the foundation of the earth,

and who forms the spirit of a man within him.
