It's fantastic to be here with you today as we gather again around the global campfire

and continue this journey forward day by day, step by step, all the way, every day, all the way to the end of the year, which is what we're doing.

So we moved into some like big territory, the book of Amos and the book of Revelation yesterday.

So a lot of kind of discovery.

We're going to continue those journeys

both in Amos and Revelation today.

So in the Old Testament,

Amos,

chapters four through six.

Hear in this word, you cows on the fertile pastures of Bishan, who grow fat and happy on the hillsides of Samaria, who oppress the poor and destroy the needy while you order your husbands to do your own work.

The eternal Lord is made a vow by his own holiness.

The eternal one says, the day will come,

and your enemy will drag you away with hooks, like sides of beef, will subdue you with fish hooks,

each and every one of you.

You'll be forced to leave through breached walls, each one of you taken straight out and cast

into Harmon, a place of exile.

I dare you.

Come to my shrine at Bethel and do wrong.
