It is a joy, an honor, a privilege, and a commitment to be here with you today.

As we gather yet again

in a very, very beautiful sacred space

that we call the global campfire.

So come on in.

It is so good to see you,

so grateful that we have this time

that we can spend walking through another step

on the grand adventure that is the adventure of the Bible

and as we do every day and have done every day

for a couple of decades now

we'll pick up rights where we left off. And that leads us back

into the book of Daniel. Today, Daniel chapter 11, verse 36 through 12, verse 13.

Then the king will do as he pleases.

He will exalt and magnify himself above every deity,

and he will utter presumptuous things against the God of Gods.

He will succeed until the time of wrath is completed,

for what has been decreed must occur. He will not respect the gods of his fathers, not even the God loved by women.

He will not respect any God.
