chapter 9 verse 3 through 10 verse 43. However, when the inhabitants of Gibbyan heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and to I,

they responded by coming up with a clever scheme.

They gathered their provisions as if they were going on a trip.

They loaded worn-out sacks on their donkeys

and wine skins that were worn out, split and mended. They put worn-out patched sandals on their

feet, and they put on worn-out clothing. All the bread in their provisions was dried out. It had begun to

crumble. Then they begun to crumble.
