I am Brian. It is great to be here with you today.

Sorry putting my coffee down. A little wind farm in my cup and yeah welcome to the

global campfire is awesome to be able to be together today to take the next step forward.

So let's do that.

We are working through the book of Job.

We are in the bottom parts of the human experience the deepest of

of suffering. It's physical suffering but so much of what job is going through is emotional suffering,

complex emotional suffering.

A deep and complicated and painful questions of why is this happening to me.

So we'll take that step and then when we get to the New Testament

we're beginning a new letter from the Apostle Paul, 2 Corinthians.

And we'll talk about that when we get there, but first, Job,

Chapter 20 through 22.

Then Zofar from Neyama replied to Job, My disturbing thoughts make me answer and because of them I am upset.

I have heard criticism that makes me ashamed, but a spirit beyond my understanding gives me answers.

Don't you know that from ancient times from the time humans were placed on earth, the triumph of the wicked is short-lived,

and the joy of the godless person lasts only a moment.

If his height reaches to the sky and his head touches the clouds, he

will certainly rot like his own feces. Those who have seen him will say, where is he? He will fly away like a dream

and not be found. He will be chased away like a vision in the night.
