Today is the twelfth day of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian and as

always it's wonderful to be here with you today as we bring another one of our weeks

to a close by taking the next step forward and that brings us back to the book of Nia

Maya. We started the book of Nia Maya yesterday and it's not that long of a book but watching

Nia Maya, just watching his character, watching the methodical way that he goes about bringing

a vision to fruition and the fact that to bring the vision to fruition while the road led

through opposition, as it does usually for us in our own lives, there's a lot to observe,

there's a lot to learn here. So let's take the next step forward. Today, Nia Maya, Chapter

3, verse 15, through 5, verse 13, Shalom, son of Kalose, ruler of the midspot district rebuilt

the fountain gate. He covered the gateway, put the gates in place and put in the bolts and the

bars. At the pool of Shila, he built the wall next to the royal garden as far as the stairs leading

down from David's city. Nia Maya, son of Asbook, ruler of half of the Bethzur district, built

the next section, as far as David's tomb, the pool, and the barracks. The following Levites

rebuilt the next several sections of the wall. Ryum, son of Bani, built the next section.

Hashabaya, ruler of half of the Kila district, built the next section on behalf of his district.

Bhavaya, son of Hanadad, ruler of the other half of the Kila district, built the next section.

Azer, son of Joshua, ruler of Midspot, built the next section in front of the armory, as far as

the place where the wall turns. Baruk, son of Zibbaya, built the next section, as far as the entrance

to the house of the high priest Eliashib. Merimot, son of Uriah, and grandson of Ekoz, built the next

section, up to the far end of Eliashib's house. The following priests rebuilt the next several

sections of the wall. Priests from the area around Jerusalem built the next section. Benjuman,

and Ashu built the next section, which was in front of their houses. Azeraya, the son of Meassia,
