Today is the 30th day of April.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Wow.

So here we are.

Completing the fourth month of the year.

I am always pretty surprised at that kind of thing.

Like, it does feel so many, in so many ways, like,

didn't we just start?

Didn't we just start?

But here we are.

The seasons have changed, at least here in the Rolling Hills of Tennessee, and we have covered

some significant ground in the scriptures, and some significant deep dives into our own hearts and

motives and thoughts and words and choices and actions,

which is what the Bible does if you will open our hearts to it.

It will touch everything and just look at us straight in the eye, just squarely. It will not flinch.

It will not look away. It will invite us forward into a deep and personal journey.

And it certainly has done that.

But it does feel like it wasn't that long ago that we just started this,

but here we are, completing four months.

I'm grateful to be on this journey with you.

I'm grateful that we have this safe oasis that we call the global campfire that we gather around every day.

I'm grateful for today.

I'm grateful for the next step forward because we have moved from Genesis all the way into the book of judges.
