Today is the 27th day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's wonderful,

fantastic, beautiful, joyful, grateful to be here with you today as we greet a brand new, shiny, sparkly new week.

And we do this most every week.

It's going to collect ourselves, stand here together.

Look out across the vista.

That is the week coming.

And we get to make it whatever it is we want to.

And that will happen, whether we want it to or not.

Our thoughts will inform our words our deeds our choices the actions that we take that'll be the story we get to tell it that is an amazing amount of power if you think about it.

It's the power of creation.

We're made in the image of God.

And God is a creator.

And we get to create this week. We have a lot of power.

What are we going to do with it?

It's usually best to sort of predetermine those things because,

I don't know if you noticed, but in the heat of it, right, in the heat of it all, in the fog of it all,

we find ourselves just kind of reacting, not really choosing, we're choosing to react

instead of kind of determining the path we are going to take,

neither turning to the right or to the left.

It's a narrow path.

We're invited on to, but that path, according to the Scriptures, leads to actual life,

which may be quite different than what it is we think we're going for.
