Today is the 18th day of April. Welcome to the daily audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's great to be here with you today. It's a privilege. It's really special that we even have this place to be. And so welcome to the global campfire for another day.

As we take the next step forward on our journey through the scriptures and our

journey through this year together in community. We're moving through the book of

Joshua at this point in time and we're learning about the

division of the land and where the tribes, where their borders would be.

Today Joshua,

Teptors 16, Jericho, and went up from there through the desert into the hill country of Bethel. It went on from Bethel, that is Lus,

crossed over to the territory of the Archites in Adaroth, descended westward to the territory of the Jeffalites as far as the region of

Lower Bet-Aran, an on-de-Gazer, ending at the Mediterranean Sea.

So Manassa and Ephraim, the descendants of Joseph, received their inheritance.

This was the territory of Ephraim according to its clans.

The boundary of their inheritance went from Arat Adar in the east to Upper Bet-Horan and continued to the Mediterranean Sea.

From Mikmethath, on the north, it curved eastward to Te'Anatsilo, passing by it to Genoa on the east.

Then it went down from Genoa to Adirot, and Naira, touched Jericho, and came out at the Jordan.

From the poor, the border went west to the Kanar ravine and ended at the Mediterranean Sea.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the Ephraimites, according to its clans.

It also included all the towns and their villages that were set aside for the Ephrahemites within the inheritance of the Manassites.

They did not dislodge the Canaanites living in Gazer.

To this day the Canaanites live among the people of Ephraim but are required to do forced labor

This was the allotment for the tribe of Manassa as Joseph's firstborn that is for Macir Manassa's firstborn, that is for MacKir, Manassa's firstborn.

Macir was the ancestor of the Gileadites who had received Gilead in Bishan

because the Macirites were great soldiers. So this allotment was for the rest of the people of Manassa,
